Angry residents and some alleged street urchins on Wednesday caused a scene at Ikorodu, Lagos State where the remains of singer, Mohbad, would be laid to rest.

Per Seconds News gathered that the angry youths are demanding money before the singer could be allowed to be buried in their community.

The body of Mohbad had arrived at his Ikorodu residence in the early hours of Wednesday for burial after he died of an alleged infection on Tuesday afternoon.

Scenes of a video obtained by Per Second News showed some area boys shouting we won’t allow him to be buried on their soil.

“We can’t allow him to be buried here. It is not permitted. Give us money or we won’t let this burial happen,” they insisted.
