How my marriage ended—Stella Damasus

406

Popular Nigerian actress, Stella Damasus, has finally opened up about how her marriage to Daniel Adenimokan ended on a sad note.

Stella, while sharing the behind the scenes events that led to the break-up of the union, said her husband left home one day and embarked on a trip which, according to him, would take a while before he returned.

She said while a lot of negative things were said about her marriage and how she allegedly snatched Daniel from her colleague, Doris Simon, on social media platforms, she chose to keep quiet and focus on herself and children.

Stella said she didn’t know her marriage had ended until she found out on YouTube where she read and watch unprintable things being said about her.

According to her, her ex-husband travelled and was supposed to be back after a while, but three days after he left, she started getting buzzed on her phone about how her marriage had crashed.

While she refrained from blaming the failure of her marriage on Daniel, she insisted that she would not drag anyone into her personal issues.

Speaking further on how she received the news of the break-up from Daniel, Stella, whose marriage to her ex-husband, also a movie director, said she was expecting to have him back at home but it never happened.

“I don’t want to blame anyone because every marriage has it issues and one must learn to deal with the issues.

“When I learnt about the crash on YouTube, I reached out to him and I was hoping that he would come back and tell me none of these things I read was true but I received the shocking response that he was never coming back to me,” she said.

She also opened up about her relationship with Doris, saying they are now friends despite the issues of the past.
