Music star, Davido, has received prayers from a staff of a popular Lagos hotel to whom he gifted $10,000 for returning the sum of $70,000 she found in a guest’s room.

The staff’s story had taken over social media platforms as many users of the platforms condemned her for returning the money.

Some even said she may never make it again in life for her decision to return the money.

Davido appeared to have been moved by the girl’s action and decided to reward her with $10,000 on Sunday evening.

Davido had been in the eye of the storm in the last 24 hours following the video of his new artiste which he shared on his social media account.

The “Timeless” singer was severely criticized by some Muslim faithful who found the video, shot in a mosque-like scene offensive to their religion.

The video was shared by Davido on Friday as the singer urged his fans to enjoy visuals to the popular single, Jaye Lo, released by DMW’s music act, Logosolori.

But the Unavailable crooner does not seem to be bothered about condemnation coming his way but channeled his energy into showing love to the hotel staff, who in return showered prayers on Davido during a video call.
