Nigerian music star, Skiibii Mayana understands that he may not remain in the spotlight forever and influence may soon begin to wane as time goes on but he seems to have solved the financial problems that usually plague the career of many Nigerian music artistes the moment they are no more relevant.

Skiibii, a former member of E-Money’s Five Star Music records that housed Kcee Limpopo and Harrysong, the hitmaker, disclosed that making money is one thing but knowing how to invest the proceeds from music and endorsement deals is a challenge many of his colleagues have failed to overcome.

But for him, as he’s securing the bags as they say in common parlance, he is investing in property, which according to him, will take care of his financial problems when he finally quits the music scene.

In an interview by Per Second News on Thursday, the More Grace Entertainment boss disclosed that he is not in competition with any of his colleagues, who keep spending their hard-earned money on luxurious cars, adding that he would not condemn them either as they know what is good for them.

The Abracadra crooner stated further that his experience before fame and wealth came has taught him lessons about life that nothing lasts forever and that one must learn to invest and save for the rainy day.

Skiibii said as a Yoruba boy, he understands what it means to invest one’s money wisely.

“I am wiser than some of those who don’t even know or here about me because they believe we must post everything on social media platforms before they could believe I am doing fine. In Lekki alone, I have about five houses where but you won’t see me post or talk about it.

“I suffered so much and I must have sense. If you see me invest in something, just know it is something that is worth it. I don’t even advice anybody because life will teach you.

“You can’t advise people how to spend their money, life will teach you the right lesson when the time comes. I live in my house, I have a cousin who makes food for me, so he supplies foods for the house.
“I also have my studio. So I can make money regularly when I don’t have to make noise about,” he added.
