The Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu Movement and Independent Campaign Council in Diaspora (ABAT/ICC) says the inauguration of the President-elect, Bola Tinubu, on May 29 will rekindle hope and faith of Nigeria and Nigerians in politics, security, and economic systems.
ABAT/ICC said they are fully persuaded that Tinubu with over 30 years in politics and governance has the physical and mental capabilities to fix Nigeria’s problems.
This is contained in a statement jointly signed by the Legal Adviser to the group, Barr. (Dr) George Olufemi Ogunjimi, the General Secretary, Olufemi Folademi, and the Coordinator-General, Akogun Banji Ojo, a copy of which was emailed to Persecondnews from the UK.
“Your election has given many Nigerians a renewed faith in politics, security, and economic systems, knowing that you have the physical and mental capabilities to fix Nigeria’s problems.
“We have followed your record of achievement carefully for over two decades and this gives us the confidence you are the man with the Midas touch.
“You ran a good, clean, and formidable campaign against all odds. Your people-oriented leadership and the strength of your political will are marks of excellence and we expect that as a new benchmark in our country’s democratic system.
“We know and believe Asiwaju has physical and mental capabilities to fix the problems and hardships of our dear country,” the group said.
The All Progressives Congress members again congratulated Tinubu on his victory in the February 25 poll and for being declared Nigeria’s President-Elect.
In the same vein, the organization also congratulated Lagos Gov. Babajide Sanwo-Olu, and Gov. Dapo Abiodun of Ogun State on their re-election and members of Parliaments in the states and at the national level.
The group specifically thanked and acknowledged the contributions of Cardinal James Omolaja Odunmbaku (MFR) in Lagos, Mr. Tayo Ayinde, the Chief of Staff to Lagos governor, and Mr. James Faleke, the member representing Ikeja Federal Constituency in the House of Representatives and Prince Adeola Omole, Director, Diaspora Directorate towards Tinubu’s victory.
“These are just a few of your foot soldiers who worked tirelessly days and nights, and we the diaspora chapter are proud to work with you towards this great achievement.”
