Controversy as Drake declares he is a Nigerian

A new controversy on the nationality of US/Canadian rapper, Drake, has sparked reactions online after the singer claimed that he is a Nigerian.

The rapper shared on his InstaStory the results of his ancestry which clearly shows he is a Nigerian.

Drake, in the screenshot shared, disclosed that he has finally realised his root which he has traced to Nigeria.

The rapper shared a screenshot on his Insta-story, which he said was sent to him by his dad, revealed that he is 30% Nigerian.

He captioned in excitement: “This my dad’s results, does this mean I’m a Naija man finally?.”

Many of his fans, particularly Nigerians have been reacting to the news with some of them warning the rapper to be careful what he wishes.

Others were quick to embrace him much to the amusement of Drake’s fans abroad and his country home in Canada.
