Just in: Over 100 passengers escape death as MaxAir plane crash lands In Abuja

Scores of passengers escaped deaths on Sunday by hairsbreadth when Max Air aircraft crash-landed at the Nnamdi Azikwe Airport Abuja.
As the plane crash landed one of its tyres burst into flames.
The Aerodrome Rescue and Fire-fighting Service (ARFFS) operates at the airport were swiftly mobilised to put out the fire.
All the passengers on the aircraft have been safely evacuated following emergency operations.
Persecondnews reports that the aircraft has since blocked the runway leaving scores of passangers stranded.
“Several flights of other airlines have been rescheduled, while efforts are ongoing to evacuate the aircraft to create a thoroughfare for other aircraft.
“The aircraft (MaxAir) crash-landed with emergency officials already on ground to put off the fire before the passengers were evacuated right on the runway,”
an aviation source said.
