Reactions have been trailing Wasiu Ayinde popularly known as K1’s decision to name his new album “Timeless”with fans of the pop star insinuating that the acclaimed Fuji king is trying to ride on Davido’s influence.

Persecondnews recalls that Davido’s trending album, “Timeless” was released last week.

But K1, it was learnt, had revealed that he would be dropping his new album during Eid IL-Fitri celebrations to mark the successful completion of the 30-day Ramadam.

The Fuji king chose April 14 to release his much anticipated, Timeless album, which is already drawing attention on social media platforms but K1’s team insisted that his “Timeless album” had nothing to do with Davido’s, stressing that nothing about the album suggested any imitation of any kind.

The 10-track offering spans 105 minutes of playtime and is published by Damjay Films & Records – the Eid IL-Fitri is tentatively set to be on April 22 and 23 and will be a public holiday for the general population, as schools and most businesses would be closed.

With Muslims around the world currently observing the Islamic holy month of fasting and prayer, K1 said he is set to get Nigerians and fans across the globe moving on their feet as soon as Ramadan is over, adding that “no better way than with the release of “Timeless”.

With digital distribution being handled and promoted by Arems Entertainment, the Fuji veteran is set to reach out to local and even more international audience.
