Following the fulfilment of his bail conditions, street singer, Portable, has regained his freedom from the prison.

The singer, who was arrested on Friday by the police following a petition and was arraigned at Ifo Magistrate’s Court in Ogun State on Monday morning, was granted bail by the court.

He was moved to the correctional facility (prison) pending the meeting of his bail conditions.

Persecondnews reported that the court granted him N300, 000 bail with two sureties in like sum, who must be resident within the court’s jurisdiction.

Portable was, however, released this evening having met his bail terms.

The singer, who goes with the moniker ‘wahala’ which literally means trouble, became the subject of discussion on the social media platforms for a better part of today.

Speaking in an Instagram Live video after his release, Portable said he has learnt his lessons, adding that he was kept away by God to keep him alive.

“I have learnt my lesson. God took me away and kept me in the ‘zoo’ to stay alive.”
