Violence mars elections in Kogi as thugs destroy electoral materials

Thugs have unleashed violence on Odaba polling unit in Dekina Ward n Ogege Road in Kogi State while the polls were in progress.

Voters had to scamper to safety following the activities of political thugs who came in large numbers to destroy voting materials.

The thugs, armed with machetes and guns, snatched ballot boxes, broke chairs and dispersed voters.

Voters and officials of the Independent National Electoral Commission also flee.
