FCTA reintroduces park and pay scheme in Q1 of 2023

The Federal Capital Territory Administration (FCT) has announced the reintroduction of the suspended On-Street Parking Management (Park and Pay) in the federal capital city.

The resumption followed the conclusion of all legal processes required before the reintroduction.

A statement by the management Transport Secretariat of the FCTA given to Persecondnews said it had commenced a sensitization campaign and free trial operation of the park and pay scheme that will end on January 31, 2023.

It announced:“Full scale implementation of the scheme is expected to commence by first quarter of 2023.

“The public is hereby assured of excellent service delivery by the operators while maintenance of orderliness in the parking regime in the territory remains the ultimate goal.’’
