Just in: NYSC DG sacked six months after appointment

Brigadier-General Mohammed Fadah has been relieved of his job as the Director-General of the National Youth Service Corps (NYSC).

The immediate sacking of Fadah on grounds of incompetence and non-performance has been approved by President Muhammadu Buhari, Persecondnews learnt.

Fadah, who was appointed in May 2022 as the 19th NYSC DG, has been directed to hand over to the most senior Director in the organization pending the appointment of a new DG.

Fadah, who hails from Bade Local Government Area of Yobe State, schooled at the Kaduna Polytechnic from where he obtained HND and later bagged a post-graduate Diploma in Management from the Lagos State University.

He also holds a Master Degree in Peace and Strategic Studies from the University of Ilorin and has enrolled for a Ph.D in Security and Strategic Studies at the Nigerian Defence Academy, Kaduna.
