Just in: Ibrahim Gusau elected new NFF President

A new President of the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF), has been elected. He is Ibrahim Musa Gusau.

Gusau was emerged at the NFF’s 78th Elective Congress held in Benin City, the Edo capital.

Gusau polled 21 votes to beat his closest challenger, former Ist Vice-President, Barrister Seyi Akinwunmi, who secured 12 votes.

With his election, Gusau takes over from Amaju Melvin Pinnick, who declined to seek reelection for a third term.
