Breaking: Billionaire kidnap kingpin, Evans, accomplice jailed 21 years

 Convicted billionaire kidnap kingpin, Chukwudimeme Onwuamadike, a.k.a Evans and his accomplice, Victor Aduba, are to spend the next 21 years in prison, a Lagos court ruled on Monday.

Persecondnews reports that an Ikeja Special Offences Court handed down the verdict to Evans for kidnapping a businessman, Slyvanus Ahamonou and collecting N$420,000 ransom from his family.

In February 2022, Evans had earlier  been sentenced to life imprisonment by an Ikeja High Court.

Evans and two others were found guilty of the kidnap of Mr Donatius Dunu, the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Maydon Pharmaceuticals Ltd.
