politicalon Thursday held a meeting with the presidential candidate of the Labour Party, Mr Peter Obi and  Rivers Gov. Nyesom Wike, in London.

Although details of the meeting have not been made public, Persecondnews learnt that a spirited commitment to mediate a settlement of raging political crises among the gladiators took place.

Also in London, a reconciliatory meeting was held between Wike and the Presidential Candidate of the People’s Democratic Party, Atiku Abubakar.

However, there are reports about Wike also meeting with APC presidential flagbearer, Bola Tinubu in London during the week.

There are apprehensions in some quarters that the activities of Wike and the governors of Oyo and Benue states, Seyi Makinde and Samuel Ortom, might put spanners in the works for PDP in its campaign for the 2023 presidential election.

Meanwhile, the PDP National Working Committee met with the governorship candidates in the 36 states at the party Secretariat in Wuse, Abuja, on Wednesday with only Oyo Gov. Makinde not in attendance as he had travelled out of the country.
