Breaking: Methodist Church Prelate, bishop, chaplain breath air of freedom

After about 12 hours, abducted Prelate of the Methodist Church, Nigeria, His Eminence Samuel Kanu-Uche, and the Bishop of Owerri, the Rt. Rev. Dennis Mark have regained freedom.

Also set free is the Prelate’s Chaplain.

At the time of this report it is uncertain ransom was paid before they were released.

Persecondnews had reported that the church disclosed on Monday evening that the kidnappers, who seized the men of God on Sunday in Umunneochi Local Government Area of Abia State, had demanded a N100 million ransom in negotiation for their freedom.

The body of Christ also declared prayers for the spiritual head of the church and other clerics.
