Pastor Tunde Bakare, the General Overseer of The Citadel Global Community Church, Lagos, took a bold step towards actualizing his presidential ambition on Thursday in Abuja by picking the All Progressives Congress (APC) Expression of lnterest and Nomination forms.
Bakare, who was President Muhammadu Buhari’s Vice-Presidential candidate in the 2011 poll which he lost, paid N100 million to pick up the forms.
Persecondnews learnt that Bakare caused consternation among his supporters and party members who had gathered at the national Secretariat at 40 Blantyre Street, off Adetokunbo Ademola Street, Wuse II, Abuja.
Bakare had in September 2019 said God told him he would be the Number 17 as Buhari was Number 16, suggesting that he would succeed President Muhammadu Buhari in 2023.
Again in April 2022, Bakare said he was the “most qualified” Nigerian to address the challenges facing the country.
