APC fixes N100m for Presidential Form, PDP N40m

The All Progressives Congress (APC) has announced N100 million for the presidential form ahead of its primary scheduled for end of May 2022.

The Expression of Interest form is N30 million, while Nomination Form will cost N70 million totalling N100 million.

The party’s National Publicity Secretary, Mr Felix Morka, disclosed this to newsmen after the 11th National Executive Meeting (NEC). in Abuja on Wednesday.

Persecondnews reports that President Muhammadu Buhari, Vice-President Yemi Osinbajo (SAN) and other party bigwigs attended the meeting.

It announced that sale of forms will commence on April 22, 2022.

Morka, however, countered what the party’s National Women leader, Mrs Betta Edu, that the women will get free forms, saying women are entitled to free nomination forms but will pay for their Expression of lnterest forms.

On its part, the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) has fixed N40 million for  nomination and expression of interest forms for its presidential aspirants.

It also slashed  the fee to be paid by youths for nomination and expression of interest forms to participate in the primaries.
