A man of God, who was deceived by the devil by eating the “forbidden apple” under him, is to spend the rest of his life behind bars.
The convict, Justice Aniele, a pastor at the Assemblies of God Church, had  unlawful sexual intercourse with a 14- year-old-orphan.
The 39- year- old Aniele did not only “pounded” the girl severally but also impregnated her.
Persecondnews.com reports that Aniele raped the girl under his care and that he committed the offence at Amaji Community in Omuma council area of Rivers State.

Aniele was sentenced to life imprisonment by Rivers State High Court sitting in Port Harcourt.Handing down the verdict, Justice Augusta Kingsley-Chuku, said the randy cleric “is guilty as charged”.

He condemned Aniele for the sexual exploitation of the minor who she noted was under his protective care.

She noted that the sexual exploitation resulted to pregnancy and the birth of a little baby boy that later died.The judge noted that the convict did not show any remorse for his actions by attempting to abort the pregnancy.

“Aniele also regularly threatened to kill the victim if she revealed the sexual exploitation to anyone.”

The offence contravened Section 32 (2) of Rivers State Child Rights Law of 2009.

Reacting to the judgment, the counsel to the Prosecution, Mrs Lilian Franklin, said justice has been served in the case.

Also, the counsel to the International Federation of Female Lawyers (FIDA), Mrs Chisom Anyalebechi said she was happy that the accused did not escape justice.
