Just in: Ex-Senate President, Ibrahim Mantu, dies at 74

A one-time Deputy Senate President, Ibrahim Mantu, has passed on, according to family sources.

Aged 74, Mantu, who was in the Senate in the administration of Ex-President Olusegun Obasanjo, reportedly died in the early hours of Tuesday, Aug. 17, 2021 at an Abuja hospital during a brief illness.

Persecondnews recalls that he represented Plateau Central at the Red Chamber.
