A popular Kannywood actress, Zainab Booth, has been confirmed dead.
Her colleague, Ali Nuhu, announced this via his verified Instagram page on Friday.
According to him, the veteran actress died on Thursday during a brief illness.
Booth is very popular in the Hausa movie industry for portrayal of motherly roles.
Nuhu writes: “By Allah’s Grace, Haj Zainab Musa Booth has passed away, and her funeral will be held tomorrow at her home facing premiere hospital on court road at 8:00 am. God shower her with mercy, and make paradise her abode, amen.”
