Barely a week after the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) office in Obollo-Afor, Udenu in Enugu State was razed, fire has again gutted the state INEC headquarters.
The fire which occurred on Sunday night destroyed the office is located at No. 1 Achi St., by Agric Bank Bus Stop, Independence Layout, Enugu.
The State Police Commissioner, Mr Mohammed Aliyu, confirmed the incident but declined to answer further questions.
He said he was at the scene of the incident to save the office from total destruction.
Fire fighters were still battling to put out the inferno.
