Cross River State Owned Cally Air has acquired a 22.3 year- old Boeing 737-31S aircraft

Information reaching Per Second News over the past week have indicated that Calabar-based Cally Air has purchased a Boeing 737-31S aircraft. The little-known Cally Air leased the fleet from World Star Aviation, in documents obtained by Per Second News Thursday morning.

The aircraft left Tallin Lennart Meri in Estonia with stopover at the Luqa airport in Malta before arriving the Murtala Muhammed International airport in Lagos on April 6 2021.

The Cally Air aircraft has a registration number 5N-BYR. The aircraft was last used by Baltic airlines.

The start-up airline is a joint venture between The Cross River State Government and DANA Group, under a public-private agreement.

The airline has just one fleet.
