In a bold move to reposition the party, the National Executive Council (NEC) of the All Progressives Congress (APC) on Tuesday dissolved the executive committees of all wards and in the 36 states.

The decision was announced at the ongoing NEC meeting holding at the Council Chambers of the State House in Abuja.

President Muhammadu Buhari, the Vice-President, Prof. Yemi Osinbajo (SAN), state governors and members of the National Caretaker Committee are in attendance.

Members of the just dissolved state executive committees are also attending virtually from their various locations

Persecondnews recalls that the National Caretaker Committee led by Yobe Governor, Mai-Mala Buni, had announced plans to register APC members ahead of the convention of the party.

He was installed the acting chairman following the sack of ex-Edo Gov. Adams Oshiomhole and his National Working Committee.
