BREAKING:  PDP’s Gov. Obaseki declared winner of Edo poll, buries godfatherism

Gov. Godwin Obaseki, the People’s Democratic Party (PDP), has finally buried godfatherism in Edo State as he was declared winner of the governorship election on Sunday afternoon.

The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC), Returning Officer, Prof. Akpofure Rim-Rukeh, who announced the results of the election, said PDP got 307,955 votes to crush the All Progressives Congress which polled 223,619 votes.
