Yoruba Actor Ogun Majek Dead After Brief Illness

Veteran Yoruba actor Gbolagade Akinpelu also known as Ogun Majek has died following a brief illness.

 

Ogun Majek, best known for his roles in  many TV shows  and yoruba movies including Iyawo Aremu and Aye Ajeku, passed away on Thursday.

 

Bolaji Amusan,  (Mr.Latin) President of Theatre Arts and Movie Practitioners Association of Nigeria, led tributes to the actor on Friday.

Veteran actor and filmmaker, Tunde Ola-Yusuf, also confirmed the incident in a Facebook post. “From him, we come and on to him we shall return, Alh Gbolagade Akinpelu Ogunmajek has returned to his creator. May God Almighty rest his soul among the righteous. Amen.”
