The All Progressives Congress newly appointed Acting Deputy National Secretary, Barrister Worgu Boms, was on Monday sworn in by the party’s National Working Committee (NWC) in Abuja.
He replaces the former Deputy National Secretary, Victor Giadom, who untill last week was the court-appointed acting National Chairman of the party after Mr Adams Oshiomhole was removed on the orders of the court.
Giadom, who was removed by the party in Rivers, had resigned to contest as the deputy governorship candidate during the 2019 general election in Rivers State.
