For Second Straight Day, Nigeria Surpasses 300 New Cases of Coronavirus

The number of new confirmed coronavirus cases in Nigeria surpassed 300 for the second consecutive day on Sunday and the number of deaths increased by at least 14.

NCDC health officials reported 307 new confirmed cases, and 3007 recoveries so far.

The number of infections is thought to be far higher because many people haven’t been tested and studies suggest that people can be infected without showing symptoms.
