Most states loosen restrictions as coronavirus cases continue to rise in Lagos

The number of confirmed COVID-19 cases in Lagos state continued to rise on Sunday as some states in Nigeria lifts restrictions allowing some nonessential businesses to reopen.

NCDC health officials reported more than 330 new cases of the coronavirus Sunday, including six more deaths.

Lagos led with 177 new cases.

Total for country is now 5,959 with 1,595 recoveries.
