Barely a week of hospitalization after testing for COVID-19, British Prime Minister Boris Johnson was on Sunday discharged from hospital.
But he will not be returning to work immediately as he needs to recuperate.
According to a Downing Street spokesman, Johnson has recovered a week after he was admitted for treatment for coronavirus and spending three days in the lntensive Care Unit (ICU).
On March 6, he had visited the Mologic Laboratory in the Bedford technology Park, north of London.
“The PM has been discharged from hospital to continue his recovery, at Chequers,” the spokesman said, referring to the prime minister’s country estate outside London.

“On the advice of his medical team, the PM will not be immediately returning to work,” the spokesman said.
