FG, Kano Govt. Get Order To Release Exiled Sanusi

Repreive has come for the deposed Emir of Kano, Muhammadu Sanusi II as a
Federal High Court in Abuja on Friday granted an interim order for his release.
Persecondnews recalls that Sanusi is currently on exile in Awe in Nasarawa State following his removal on Monday by the Kano State Government.

In his ruling, Justice Anwuli Chikere granted the order for Sanusi’s freedom following an exparte motion brought by him.

Mr Lateef Fagbemi (SAN) had filed the motion on behalf of the embattled Emir.
Alhaji Ado Bayero, son the late Emir Ado Bayero, has been appointed to replace Sanusi.
In his post-dethronement comment, Sanusi, through his lawyers, had vowed to challenge his dethronement, banishment and detention.
