Liverpool face a mouthwatering tie against Atletico Madrid in the last 16 of the Champions League.

The draw in Nyon has handed Jurgen Klopp a return to the Wanda Metropolitano Stadium where they lifted the European Cup last season.

It represents a tricky tie for the Reds but a clearly happy hunting ground having won the tournament there in June.

Liverpool and Ateltico haven’t met in competitive action since the 2010 Europa League semi-final when Diego Forlan struck an extra-time away goal to end Liverpool’s hopes in the competition during a 2-1 second-leg win for Rafa Bentiez’s then side.
