Omoyele Sowore, the detained publisher of Sahara Reporters, has described Nigeria as a lawless country.
Sowore was arraigned at a Federal High Court in Abuja alongside Olawale Bakare on a seven-count charge of treasonable felony and other sundry offences.
The DSS had refused to release him following an order by Justice Taiwo Taiwo of a coordinate court, the Federal High Court, Abuja.Justice Ijeoma Ojukwu ordered that the duo be remanded in the custody of the Department of State Services till Friday when the application for their bail would be heard.
In a brief press interview as he was being led out of the courtroom, Sowore said:”This is a lawless country and that is why Nigeria must fight for its soul.
“We must ensure that the revolution gives our people a chance…”
Infruiated DSS operatives disrupted the interview and pulled him out of the courtroom amid shouts of ‘‘Revolution Now’’.
