Mrs. Leah Olusiyi Solomon, women leader of the Christian Association of Nigeria, CAN, in the 19 Northern States, burst into tears after a photo session with president Muhammadu Buhari Thursday at the Villa in a bid to force through a meeting.

“I was in deep pains when I see the killings of the innocent ones and also the mothers. I was in pains and I was asking if His Excellency will grant us an audience as the Christian women in the Northern states so that we can come and cry and pray also that the innocent children will be alive in the nation as the next  generation.

Mrs. Solomon shocked security personnel and others when she knelt down after the photo session, raised her hands and started crying uncontrollably before President Buhari.

Buhari who was taken unawares by her action immediately directed State Chief of Protocol, to liaise with her and arrange the meeting.

She decried the massacre of Christians especially the killings of women and Children by herdsmen in the northern part of the country.

“It is a painful thing because the mother with the child no one can divide them, the child feeds from the umbilical cord and no one can disengage the love between a child and the mother, that was the pains I had in me and I was crying if he can listen and give us the audience as Christian, she said.
