The Tanko Al-Makura-led organising committee has suspended the Ekiti governorship primaries indefinitely following the violent disruption of the exercise.
Former governor Kayode Fayemi was accused of trying to manipulate the votes.
Some aspirants alleged that law enforcement agents were seen voting and hence the reason for the mayhem.
