The Federal Government has completed the handing over of the State House, Marina to the Lagos State Government on Tuesday after over 20 years of back and forth.
Minister of Power, Works and Housing, Mr. Babatunde Fashola,signed on behalf of the Federal Government, while Lagos State Governor, Mr. Akinwunmi Ambode, signed for the state.
Lagos plans to turn the monument into a tourist site in line with the vision of Governor Ambode to use tourism to further promote the economy of Lagos, and create jobs.
