The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) has announced that it has declared two additional people – Folashade Odelana and Bamidele Ayodele Abiodun – wanted in connection with a large-scale fraud involving the online trading platform, Crypto Bridge Exchange (CBEX).

Their last known address is No. 17, Oremeta Street, Allen, Ikeja, Lagos.

The EFCC is urging anyone with information regarding Odelana and Abiodun’s whereabouts to contact any of its offices.

“Anybody with useful information as to their whereabouts should please contact the Commission in its Ibadan, Enugu, Kano, Lagos, Gombe, Port Harcourt or Abuja offices, or through these numbers 09-9044751-3, 08093322644, 08183322644, 07026350721-3,
0706350724-5; its e-mail address: info@efccnigeria.org or the nearest Police Station and other security agencies,” it said.

CBEX is a digital investment platform that allegedly defrauded thousands of Nigerian investors out of approximately N1.3 trillion.

The platform promised a 100% Return on Investment (ROI) in 30 days, but it crashed after the money in investors’ wallets vanished in April.

Persecondnews reported that the EFCC had arrested some people in connection with the scam.
