The Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) has taken a significant step towards enhancing football governance and development in the country by initiating a collaboration with a mini-football team.

This strategic partnership aims to benefit both entities and is part of the NFF’s broader commitment to improving football development and governance in Nigeria.

At a meeting on Friday at the NFF headquarters in Abuja, the General Secretary, Dr. Mohammed Sanusi, stressed the importance of maintaining professionalism within the federation and adhering to regulations set by the Confederation of African Football (CAF) and the Fédération Internationale de Football Association (FIFA).

Sanusi reiterated the NFF’s primary role in overseeing and regulating football activities in Nigeria, noting the need for compliance with global standards in football governance.

The mini-football team, comprising Alhaji Umah Yusuf Datti, Amb. Paul Chukwudi Maduakor, Chief Agu Chukwuemelie Lambert, Amb. Sheriff Mulade, and Fabian Edaba, visited the NFF headquarters to discuss the partnership.

Their presence underscored a collective effort to advance football governance and foster collaboration within various levels of the sport in Nigeria.

This partnership represents a pivotal move towards enhancing football governance and development in the country.

The General Secretary said the NFF was committed to engaging with stakeholders to achieve its objectives, pointing out that collaboration is a significant step in this direction.
