Manchester City cruised to a convincing 4-1 win over newly-promoted Ipswich Town at the Etihad Stadium, thanks to a stunning hat-trick from Erling Haaland and a dominant display from Kevin De Bruyne.

The Citizens took an early lead through De Bruyne, who scored a trademark goal in the 14th minute with a pinpoint strike from outside the box.

However, Ipswich responded swiftly, with Sammie netting a surprise equalizer just three minutes later, catching the City defense off guard.

Persecondnews reports that Haaland took center stage, scoring his first in the 25th minute with a clinical finish before adding two more goals in the second half, showcasing his incredible speed and finishing ability.

The Norwegian striker’s hat-trick took his tally to five goals in three Premier League games and his seventh hat-trick in 68 Premier League games, sending a warning to City’s title rivals.

Pep Guardiola’s men maintained their 100% start to the season, while Ipswich will look to regroup and build on their promising start to life back in the top flight.
