Former President Olusegun Obasanjo visited the nation’s First Lady, Sen. Oluremi Tinubu, on Monday to pay Sallah homage.

The First Lady’s spokesperson, Busola Kukoyi, posted a photo of their meeting on her X page.

She said Obasanjo came to felicitate the First Lady on Monday for Eid-el-Kabir.

Kukoyi tweeted: “Former President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, Chief Olusegun Obasanjo, and the First Lady of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, Senator Oluremi Tinubu, after receiving the Former President who came felicitating on the Sallah Celebration on Monday 17th June.”

Persecondnews recalls that Obasanjo has not visited President Bola Tinubu since his assumption of office on May 29, 2023.
