Apart from making history as the first Nigerian artiste to be invited to perform at British monarch, King Charles’ coronation concert on Sunday, Nigerian Afrobeat queen, Tiwa Savage rocked the stage as she dazzled in her flowing green dress.

The African music industry, particularly Nigeria looked forward to Savage’s performance at the concert and the mother of one illustrated the essential difference between her and other female music actresses in the industry.

King Charles III was crowned on Saturday, May 6, 2023, and as part of the celebration, a concert was held at Windsor Castle on Sunday.

With a live performance that thrilled over thousands of guests at the Windsor Castle, Savage lived up to expectations and grabbed her moment of fame.

If the music was outstanding as expected, her dress was epic and left many who attended the event, including her fans and colleagues in awe of her beauty, poise and music rendition.

The singer had teased her followers on Instagram what she would be wearing. Many people chose a Nigerian designer with the eponymous label, Lanre Da Silva Ajayi and Lanre reposted the story.

The green dress apparently represented the Nigerian spirit in Savage and the fact that she wore a Nigerian designer showcasing the Nigerian flag which is green and white shows her pride in the Nigerian culture.

The off-shoulder tube gown had a ruffle by the side and a beautiful train. She looked simply angelic in that gown. Her makeup was minimal and she wore a long curly wig.

The audience responded encouragingly to her performance as she thrilled the ecstatic crowd to an evening of good music and nice looks.
