I Feel Guilty for Not Pursuing Priesthood – Cubana Chief Priest

1.7k

Celebrity barman Cubana Chief Priest has opened up about a lingering sense of guilt tied to his late mother’s unfulfilled dream for his life.

The nightlife impresario revealed that his mother had always wanted him to become a Catholic priest, dedicating his life to the church and service.

According to him, this was a vision she held dearly before her passing.

“I feel guilty for not fulfilling my late mum’s wish to be a Catholic priest,” he admitted, noting that the thought still weighs heavily on him despite the success he has found in his chosen path.

Instead of following the priesthood, Cubana Chief Priest, has made a name for himself in the world of showbiz.

Today, he is known as one of Nigeria’s most prominent nightlife entrepreneurs, show promoters, and brand influencers.

The Owerri-born businessman explained that while he deeply respects the priesthood, life’s circumstances and his own decisions eventually led him down a completely different path, one far removed from his mother’s original dream.

His booming career in entertainment, particularly his role in running clubs, organizing star-studded events, and promoting music and lifestyle brands, has cemented him as a major player in Nigeria’s showbiz industry.

Observers note that there is little in his current work that reflects his mother’s hope of him wearing the cassock, serving at the altar, and guiding worshippers in faith.

Yet, Cubana Chief Priest says he still carries her memory in everything he does.
