Nike, a Nigerian woman, tragically committed suicide after sharing on a podcast her struggles with unrestrained sexual desires and mental health issues.

Nike had spoken about experiencing sexual abuse and struggling with depression and anxiety.

She had hoped that sharing her story would help her overcome it and get healing.

In an interview with actress Biola Adebayo, also known as Eyinoka, on her popular podcast, Nike had opened up about her struggles with mental health and her experiences with trauma.

The interview went viral three days ago, and many who saw the video couldn’t believe she could be telling the truth.

She had shared how she would often struggle with cravings and feelings of desperation, but did not go into detail.

In the interview, Nike, whose face was covered for privacy’s sake, said:”Sometimes I will just feel horny. Then I went to buy a dog. Even when I was in school, in my room, I will have to lock my room and start using my finger on myself.

“Up till now, I am still feeling it to a point I have to get myself two dogs. I will just sleep in bed, open my laps, and I will call the dog to start licking it.

The problem is after doing this is that I will start crying and start asking myself why am I even doing this. I will start cursing myself. Sometimes I don’t even want to have sex with any man.”

In a note she left behind, Kemi expressed gratitude for the opportunity to share her story and forgave her mother, whom she felt had failed in her motherly duties.
