Latest on Portable: Police release singer on bail

Controversial singer Habeeb Okikiola, a.k.a Portable after spending a night in the police cell was on Wednesday released on bail.
Persecondnews recalls that the ‘Zazzu’ crooner was arrested on Tuesday, May 14 following his alleged refusal to pay the debt he incurred when he purchased Mercedes Benz GLE 350 from Ogunsanwo Temitope (Temmy Autos), a car dealer in the state.
Portable had paid only N13 million for purchasing the vehicle valued N27 million.
He was said to have refused to pay the N14 million balance, claiming that the vehicle is “defective.”
The Lagos State Police Command’s spokesman, SP Benjamin Hundeyin, confirmed that Portable was released on Wednesday afternoon.
On whether Portable has sorted out the issues surrounding the vehicle, the spokesman said: “I have no idea about it  but what I can say is that he has been granted bail.”
