Renowned comedian and social commentator Seyi Law has stirred controversy with his recent remarks about social media influencer Noble Igwe, indicating a brewing feud between the two prominent figures in the Nigerian entertainment industry.

Seyi Law, well-known for his witty humour and outspoken views, has found himself in the midst of a heated exchange following his public endorsement of Bola Tinubu’s presidential ambition ahead of the 2023 elections.

This endorsement has drawn criticism from some quarters, especially amidst the backdrop of soaring food prices and a challenging economic climate.

In a recent podcast monitored by Per Second News on Tuesday, Seyi Law disclosed his simmering animosity towards Igwe, stemming from Igwe’s criticism of his political stance and alleged derogatory remarks aimed at Seyi’s wife and daughter.

Igwe, a vocal supporter of the Labour Party’s presidential candidate, Peter Obi, took issue with Seyi Law’s alignment with Tinubu, accusing him of going against the interests of the masses.

Seyi Law minced no words in expressing his resentment towards Igwe, stating unequivocally that there would be consequences if Igwe failed to apologize for his disparaging comments towards Seyi’s family.

He asserted that unless Igwe extends a sincere apology to him and his wife, peace will remain elusive between them.
