The campaign for the nation’s presidential seat by the APC National Leader, Asiwaju Bola Tinubu appears to be moving with halts and jerks as the
Director-General of the Tinubu Support Group, Mr Abdulmumin Jibrin, has quit the party.
Jibrin, a former member of the House of Representatives, announced on Saturday that he has dumped the All Progressives Congress.
It was, however, not clear if he has informed Tinubu before jumping the ship.
“I have done my best for APC. Its time to move on. I will announce my new political party within the next 24 hours Insha Allah.
” I will make a formal statement in due course,” he announced on his Twitter handle on Saturday.
Jibrin, however, said he would soon announce his new party.
Jibrin, a businessman and, academic, represented Kiru/Bebeji Federal Constituency of Kano State in the National Assembly.
