“Dangote was looking at 600 vessels per annum, and that target has been surpassed,” he said during a meeting with Aliko Dangote, President of the Dangote Group.

Dangote’s visit was to show appreciation for the establishment of the OSS, which has been coordinated by the NPA under the guidance of relevant government agencies.

He commended the OSS for its significant contributions to energy security and sustainability, highlighting the ports’ role in providing seamless logistics support.

The NPA boss acknowledged the strong support of the Minister of Blue Marine, Adegboyega Oyetola, Minister of Finance Mr. Wale Edun and Chairman of the FIRS Mr. Zacch Adedeji, who has ensured the provision of all necessary resources to drive the project’s success.

“The project’s achievements reflect effective collaboration among stakeholders and reinforce its potential to further enhance operational efficiency in the sector,” Dantsoho said.

The OSS initiative has brought about efficiency in transactions and operations within Nigerian government agencies.
