Breaking: Sen. Okpebholo inaugurated as Edo governor

Sen. Monday Okpebholo and Mr. Dennis Idahosa have taken oaths of office as the Governor and Deputy Governor of Edo State.

The inauguration was held on Tuesday at the Samuel Ogbemudia Stadium, Benin City, the state capital.

Okpebholo takes over from Gov. Godwin Obaseki who served for two-term of eight years.

Persecondnews recalls that the newly sworn in APC governor has defeated the People’s Democratic Party candidate, Asue Ighodalo, in the September 21 poll.
