In a statement released on Thursday, Ajao expressed deep regret and remorse for what transpired at the event, taking full responsibility and seeking forgiveness from those affected.

Ajao apologized to the Muslim community for any inconvenience the premiere’s proceedings may have caused, especially during the holy month of Ramadan.

She emphasized her respect for the significance of this time and clarified that offending or upsetting anyone was never her intention.

In addition, Ajao extended profound apologies to womenfolk, emphasizing her understanding of the importance of upholding and honouring womanhood with dignity and respect.
