The UEFA Champions League holders, Manchester City, begin defence of their title against Copenhagen in the R16, while Victor Osimhen’s Napoli will face Barcelona.
Pep Guardiola’s Manchester City were flawless in the group stage as they dominated with most goals scored, most shots on target, most final third passes, most possession and most big chances created.
Guardiola is well aware of the attacking threats of the Danish outfit who have already beaten one team from Manchester this season.
Copenhagen finished above Manchester United in their group to reach the knockout stage for the first time since 2011.
City have conceded just one goal in their last three UEFA Champions League last 16 ties, scoring a whooping 17 goals.
Guardiola’s side have progressed from the last 16 stage in each of the past six seasons in the Champions League.
The first legs is scheduled to take place on 13-14 or 20-21 February and the second leg on 5-6 or 12-13 March.
London side Arsenal will be looking to avoid eight consecutive exits at the last 16 stage as they have been paired with FC Porto.
Since 2010/11 season the Gunners have been knocked out in each of their last of their last seven appearances in the competition.
They will be coming up against a formidable Porto side who qualified for the last 16, level on points with Barcelona, they scored 15 goals, the fifth highest of any side in the competition so far.
The two stars to watch out for in this tie will be Arsenal’s Englishman Bukayo Saka, who jointly tops the chart for goals contribution in the group stage (7) and Brazilian and FC Porto attacking sensation Francisco Evanilson de Lima Barbosa, who have scored four goals in five Champions League games.
Record 14-time winners Real Madrid meet RB Leipzig, while Inter Milan – runners-up last season – play Atletico Madrid, and Bayern Munich face Lazio.
The final takes place at Wembley on 1 June.
